hi
i want to setup a sendmail server and along with that a ldap server for address book ..... i have configured ldap server on redhat linux 8.0 and a dns server on the same. whenever i try to use the command ldapsearch it gaves me an error

ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s : Local error

can anyone tell me what does this mean and how can this error be rectified
