    Hey, im coming from server 2003 and dont know anything about running server applications on linux and wondered if anyone could tell me a place with general information to help get me started. I use apps like dhcp, dns cache, samba, ftp. Thanks!

    O'Reily books are great, but not as good as just doing it. Go for it and ask questions along the way.

    agreed, most things I know about running servers I learned by doing it myself, and came here when I had trouble
