vncserver - Configuring
Hi, firstly sorry if this is in the wrong forum.
The vncserver i have is the one "apt-get install vncserver" will get from debian and I can get it running but I was wondering how you configure what it displays when you connect to it, at the moment I think it shows Gnome but I would like it to show a large resolution KDE.
I did look on google and a config file was mentioned in ~/.vnc but that file didnt exist...
Thanks for any help

you will most likely be forced to create a ~/.vnc (note that the tilda means your home directory) lots of programs that have behanvior differ from user to user (like procmail or vncserver it seems) will default to a config file in /etc when no local version is found.
