I just changed my apache conf to listen to port 8080. Is there anything else I need to do to get my server to respond on that port only? Thanks!...

Not specifically a server-only task, but if you have a firewall, you want to make sure that port is open. On the routing side, if applicable, doublecheck that traffic is forwarded through to that port.
