Is there anyway to speed up the SSH on my machine?

It has about a 2-3 second lag when I type.

My other server has no lag (or very very little)

    Thanks!

    Well...

There would be like no command that could control the transfer rate of data between ssh sessions. Think it would matter more about the specs on the computer. Like diffrent hardware and what the difference of services that are running on the machines and such. Try turnning off some unnesscary services to free up some memoery and see if that help.

It seems more likely that it would be a connection issue than a system performace issue. Unless you have enabled compression for the session.

Was asuming the computers used the same connections, do they use the same connections. And also, what about the computers you acesse from? Same computers? Same connections? Slow speeds at times on the computers you acesse from? Could be so many things could it not?
