It's pretty hot over here as well. I'm really not very good at handling heat, and it's about 30 °C (yes, the degree sign is part of ISO-8859-1, so I don't think that I'm violating anything, right?) every day right now. I'm at the edge of my sanity, and I'm sweating liters. It doesn't even get cold at night, for ***'s sake!
I really wish that I would have an A/C unit, but those things are pretty expensive, after all.
I'm guessing that it's even worse for you, though. How hot is it in Hong Kong these days?

it is 31-34 degrees here, typhoons are coming, we can have as many as ten typhoons per summer, so it is cooling down a little bit, but still need AC if we wanna sleep! the heat is attacking europe, London is 30sth degrees these days, very rare in decades,.

I just bought a new AC, it costs me HK$4100/7.8=525 US$

Oh, it seems that the Swedish and Hong Kong currencies are worth almost exactly the same.
I am certainly having trouble sleeping; I wake up every morning soaked in sweat... It isn't nice at all! It would be nice to invest in an A/C, but I'd only need it about one month per year, after all. Hopefully this torment will end soon.
Anway, I'm going to sleep now (it's 5 AM here... I've stayed up too long, again), and let's see how well that goes...=)
