    Intranet Messaging using linux

    Hi All,
    I was thinking that whether there is any INTRA-SITE real-time messaging application under linux. I was to be able to send real-time text messages using something like a Messaging client. I know there is some kind of a Sever software available in WINDOZE which lets us communicate using a CHAT client but is there anything like that available in LINUX.
