Faster Site (internal network)
Can anyone tell me how I can make my installs faster?
I have completely copied the suse.org FTP for i386.
I can do both FTP and HTTP installs on my network but for some reason they are slow (faster than over the internet).
Any ideas what I can do to speed things up?

Can you describe the problem a little bit more? What exactly is slow? What does it do?

I have done a wget to get all the contents of the ftp server.
I have set that up on my server so I can do local network installs.
When I boot up the machine, load my modules, and start the process the RAM Disk and the downloading of content from my local server is slow as hell.
What can I adjust to make the speeds faster.
I can provide info is asked for.

Could the contents of the FTP server have links that are pointing to the FTP server, so you're still installing from the internet?
