ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote ...
Hi all,
I was able to connect to one linux 7.3 machine through client machines till yesterday. I restarted the machine and when I tried to connect back to it, I received the error
ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host
Now, I checked that there are no hosts.allow/deny files. I am guessing that they were not there previously.
So my question is this. Is it safe for me to get a new rsa key through
"ssh-getkey"
Will it solve my problem? And if it would, will there be changes that need to be made in the known_hosts file? Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi, There was an entry in the hosts.deny which was stopping everything.
It works now. Thanks
