    apache2 error log

    Hi,
    I get this error in the log when I try to start apache 2.0.54

    [crit] (22)Invalid argument: mod_rewrite: Could not set permissions on rewrite)log_lock: check User and Group directives
    Configuration Failed

    any help gratefully received.

    Greetings,

    Just make the user and group entry in the httpd.conf to apache for both the users and groups and then restart the apache service and check.
