SQL won't start after fresh install
Hello.
I just installed SQL on redhat Enterprise AS and I did it manualy by compiling and what not, I followed everything from http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/quick-install.html
I have done this before too so its not totaly new to me
the problem is that SQL won't start becuase it says it can't bind to port and asks me if I am maybe running another server on port 3306. as far as I know there is nothing running on 3306 but how can I check for sure? I made sure there is no sql servers installed on my redhat install and I can't find any but maybe I am blind
thank you much
