i am using RedHat Enterprise Linux 3

my nfs server is not running

while starting the service(service nfs start) , i am getting the following messages

starting NFS services [ok]
starting NFS quotas [ok]
starting NFS daemon [Failed
starting NFS mountd [ok]

please suggest me
