I deal with a problem and I would really need your advice. I am not a linux pro and so forgive my ignorance.
I have a Fedora 3 distro and have set up a sendmail email server. The server is running normally. I have just put cyrus-imapd package without doing any setup.
The problem comes when trying to use Outlook Express accessing the mailboxes. Although I am 100% of the usernames and passwords of email users, the linux rejects them and asks again and again for the passwords.
In Red Hat 9, I did not deal with these problems. I am aware that something has changed with security but I don't know what.

Could someone have any ideas about what I must do to fix this so as the Outlook express can play with pop3 and imap and not (pop3s and imaps)
