    phpbb/mysql/php problem

    The PHP configuration on your server doesn't support the database type that you chose.

    I get this error right after i click install on phpbb

    Yes the user/pw is correct.

    Debian Sarge 3.1
    Apache 2
    phpmyadmin 2.6.2
    mysql 4.0.24
    php4

    Have you installed the 'php4-mysql' -package?

    yes, i installed php4-mysql

    i also restarted mysql, and apache to be sure
