I have the same problem after installing FC3. It was installed in the same computer and running. I clean reinstalled it again.
I tried all suggestions posted here but all answers were the same cold "httpd startup failed".
I wonder how most of users ask for help (they and I are asking it for free -it is valuable time from responsers) and cannot waste a little of their time to share their final solution.
