Starting SMB fails: /etc/init.d/functions: line 83: 8823

Hi,

I just installed FC4, and am trying to get Samba configured. I typed in "service smb start" and it told me starting smb failed wiht the error:
"/etc/init.d/functions: line 83: 8823 Aborted $nice
$*"

line 83 in /etc/init.d/functions says Daemon(), i have never edited (or even known of) that file

i posted my /etc/init.d/functions file on my freinds server : www.ironbullauctions.com/functions

Any sugestions?

Try to update samba with a newer rpm.
