still not working i pointed the document root at the folder i wanted it to show, but still im getting this default introduction page, even after i restart httpd, why is this??

but it seems like im runing the one that came with mandrake maybe thats why?

You haven't called your intro file index.htm, have you? If you have, and there is a lurking index.html in there, Apache is usually configured to fine index.html first.
