Pay per print on samba
i am working on a project that will use samba and to authenticate windows users and act as a file and print server..
The problem:
I need to know if there is any open source linux program that will help me charge my users for printing services, or if i can give them a quota that they can print and anything over that will be charged to an account.
I would appreciate any suggestions or alternate solutions

I believe (although I'm not entirely certain) that you can set cups to log who it is printing for, number of pages, etc. All you'd need to do then is take the log, grep for each user and print them a 'statement', billing them accordingly.
