Connecting / backup of remote stations
Hi,
I have two local networks, one based on Suse Linux 9.3 connectedto the internet with a router and the other one on Windows 2000 (just a work group, no domains) connected through a simple hub.
I want to be able to connect the 2 networks through the internet, for both file transfer and remote backup in a secure way. Where can I find a tutorial for a newbie like me
I guess I have to setup SSH and a FTP server but I just don't understand how it works and what I have to do. I have enabled TFTP with YaST but I suppose theres more to do. I also have a Samba server running on my Linux network and I can access it with locals WinXP machines so one way would be to extend it to the WAN in a secure way, right ?
Thank you for your help
