Samba and hiding files based on permissions?
I have not seen this in linux really, but I am looking for a way to hide a file from the user based on permissions. Basically, say I have a folder and in it I have another folder named 'test'. If a user 'bob' logs on to the server using samba but he does not have permission to read the folder 'test' then I would like him also not be able to see that folder. I do not know if that is possible in bash, from what I know I do not think so, but perhaps this is possible in samba?
Thank you,
- Bogdan
