Alias Or Scriptalias To Allow .php
I am trying to create an alias on my cPanel server to run a common php script for webmail. I want to happen is when any domain access with the /mail (e.g. http://www.anydomain.com/mail) a page with some options to login and some form values to be displayed. I can get the alias to work but I get a permissions error when accessing a php page. I have a directory inside the /home directory named webmail that contains the pages I want to use for the webmail scripts I am creating. Can anybody shed some light on what I need to do to allow the access to php pages in this aliased directory?

Did you check that the directory has appropriate permissions for the user/group under which your server is running?
