how or where do i go to access httpd.conf to access "document root"

Open up your httpd.conf file and it is in the upper third of the file. Page down 5 or 6 times in your favorite editor and it is right there as document root...I don't know how else to explain it, cause anytime I needed to go into it, I just page down and read until I find it...there are a lot of comments in that upper third of the config file, but if you look at it as you scroll down, it is pretty clear.

On my FC2 server, the httpd.conf file is here:
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
It'll be somewhere similar, but not necessarily in the same place on other distros.Linux user #126863 - see http://linuxcounter.net/
