    Dot ASP file display

    hello,

    Pls im going through a dreamweaver tutorial and the sample file to work with is a .asp.

    Ive installed and configured Apache(on Windows) and my test page is working fine. How do i get my windows browser and apache to display a file with .asp extension. I plan to upload the sample webpages onto my linux machine later on.

    in view of this, which language is best / most advisable to design(dynamic webpages) with if one is looking at hosting on a linux platform.
