    unable to send mails

    Hi

    i am working on unix and trying to sending mails. but when i send mails using mailx or mail cursor comes back to the command prompt. but i have not been receiving any the mails.

    pls resolve this problem. i am unable to get my svript work.

    Are you sure that a mail server is running on your machine? Enter:

    ps -ax | more

    and look for sendmail or some other mail daemon.
