    email DNS setup issue?

    Hello,
i have a client that sends daily email messages to their customers who request it. The issue that we are having is that some of them are returned with the following:
SMTP Protocol Returned a Permanent Error 450 Unable to find storypeople.com

Im assuming that this is a DNS issue, but i dont know how to resolve it. If i do a 'dig MX storypeople.com' then it resolves to mail.storypeople.com which is correct. And mail.storypeople.com also resolves to the correct IP address. Im currently stumped and will welcome any suggestions, ideas, or "off the wall" theories.

    Thanks

this might not be the solution, but you did say "off the wall" theories are ok
    ping storypeople.com and add
    Code:
    <IP_address> storypeople.com mail.storypeople.com
    to /etc/hosts.
