    mail problem (Relaying denied)

Ok here is the problem. I have install squirrelmail on my web server and when i log on squirrelmail nd try to send or recive email everything is ok. But when i try to setup my account on Mozilla Thunderbird and when i try to send email thry Mozilla Thunderbird it say:

An error occured while sending mail. The mail server responded: 5.7.1 <goldy@gmail.com>... Relaying denied. IP name lookup failed [62.162.246.33]. Please verify that your email address is correct in your Mail refrences and try again.

    Thanks in advance.

To prevent relaying, sendmail does a dns lookup on your IP address and checks to see if it matches the sender domain.

The solution here is to set up your DNS to report the right domain for this IP address. It might also work if you put an entry in your 'hosts' file.
