mysql server problem

Hello

I have a problem with my mysql server.

When i go to services, i try to start mysqld and it gives me this message

"Error occured trying to start mysqld"

while starting it with webmin give me this message

Error

Failed to start database :

sh: /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysql: No such file or directory


Note that i did install mysql from my mandriva 2006 CD's as RPM.

I would like to know whats going on and how can i fix this?
