    SQUID Proxy server configuration.

    Hi

I have installed SQUID Proxy in Redhat box. I need to authenticate the users for internet connection. I have a LDAP server running Windows 2000, and an ADS Server running Windows 2000 Proxy.

Could some one help me to configure the authentication for the SQUID server through LDAP.

    Thanks

I would try a google search

for me, setting up squid (and squidguard in my case) was done easiest with webmin. if you have a recent distro you should be able to get a squid package to install. The default install should be pretty good except that all access is blocked. I would make sure you can at least get to that point. If you are looking for webfiltering I would use something like squidguard or dansguardian.

    for authentication
