Have you tried getting your users to check thier bulk mail folder?

It may be that it is arriving in the users mailbox but in a filtered location.

These days, I had played around with sendmail.

I steel can't send mail to Hotmail, but I have one question more:

when I send a mail to Hotmail, or Msn the /var/log/maillog tells me:

Code:
......
delay=00:00:03, xdelay=00:00:03, mailer=esmtp, pri=30518, relay=mx3.hotmail.com. [65.54.167.5], dsn=2.0.0, stat=Sent ( <200402042011.i14KBKiG008071@1oopis.oopis.ro> Queued mail for delivery)
What does it meas Queued mail for delivery ?
Where is queued?

Can someone explain me, please?

Thank's a lot.

That's the response from the Hotmail server. That is, the hotmail server has reported that it has queued the mail for further processing.

The official respone is that I am on their black list for filtering.

What other alternatives I have?

Thank you

I have just sent an email to msnhst@microsoft.com. I too run a small webserver and email from home and it seems to me that my log files look a lot like Doldas ... I've been sending emails to a friend there and not getting anything back so I'm starting to wonder if I've been blacklisted or something. I'll post whatever response I get in this forum.

Hello again,

The exactly formula is that I am on their filtering list, but they advise me to read this document:

GIVE ME A BREAK!!!
They are saying that if you are a small domain you have to pay "BondedSender" to Validate your email?????

What a Joke...
I haven't gotten anything back from them yet but I think that I will be BLACKLISTING Hotmail

I think there might be an alternative solution do this. I'm guessing that Hotmail blacklists certain originating IP addresses, not originating domains. Thus, if you know someone else who's running a mail server, maybe you can convince him to allow routing from you, so that you can route all emails through his IP address.

I can hardly believe that they're even considering to point individuals to that BSP page, though. Can't you try and talk them over?
