Apache caching/per site speedups
I have a virtual site on a Red Hat Enterprise box that contains large, high quality images that are presented via Flash to the web. The images are all .jpeg and they range in size from 300-400K. The images won't change often, and the box has enough memory to spare to keep them stored in memory-- if this is possible.
Is there anything that I can do to speed up the amount of time it takes to serve these images? I understand that I'm still working around the end user's bandwidth, but I'd still like to know that I have apache pushing them out as fast as possible.
Thanks for any ideas you can provide.
