    Web server monitoring as a part of online security system?

    Hi everybody!
    What do you think of web site and web server monitoring as components of online security system? Have you ever tried such services?

    Personally I prefer going through the logs using logrotate and logsentry. Never heard of what you have mentioned. Can you enlighten me on that please?
