I know this comes up over and over in various forms, but No matter how hard I try, I can't get my webpage to look the same in two different forms of linux, much less the same on Linux that it does on Windows. I finally gave in and created a seperate CSS sheet for IE, one for Firefox on windows, and one for Linux. But every Linux distribution looks different. Even different versions of Debian look different!

There's got to be a way to define the default for all forms, so that if the user doesn't specifically change the font or font size for that page, it'll look the same. I've tried setting body { font-family: Helvetica } and nothing changes. I've thought about using pixel values instead... anyone know if the pixel size is consistant in various forms of Linux? But that still doesn't help if the default font is different.

Someone help before I start smashing company equipment!!
