Hi Guys,

I just wanted to share my experience with you.

I am a Cobalt RaQ administrator and have been for several years. I have been growing tired of problems with dependency hell that you have with old Linux (Cobalt runs on Redhat 6.8 I believe). I also needed to get Curl working for a clients website. I started to realise that the old Cobalt OS was too outdated for my needs.

Then one day recently I came across this site: http://www.osoffice.co.uk
They have managed to make an installer for Cobalt RaQ 3's 4's and 550's that installs CentOS and BlueQuartz!

I tried it, and it works perfectly. My old Blue box now has a new lease of life

I have now migrated all of my clients sites, to the new OS and am able to run Apache 2, a 2.6 kernel! and Curl!

I would reccomend this to anyone

Pango
