I have problem setting up mysql server on my system..... it runs on fc4-64bit... the problem is that i installed phpmyadmin... worksfine...but when i create a new database and a new table for that..... it says field index is empty..... And if i set a root password for the server phpmyadmin dose'nt work.... So what i need is a complete step by step instruction on setting the server properly...i.e,secure..... and a way of managing the server from the terminal.... Please if anybody knows about it please let me know.... Thanks in advance...
