    Fedora IMAP

    really dull question. what is the IMAP server that comes with Fedora. the rpm manager just states IMAP server. (or IMAPS)

    I am trying to make a web based email service (for fun) in PHP I have now configured sendmail and started imap with ssl support. I can open an IMAP stream over SSL but I can't see any mail. But I sent one to myself so I know its there. checked with the command mail -u username to be 100%.

    So I thought maybe I need to configure it. but i don't know what its called and there is no etc/imap.

    thanks

    Kris

    Sorry i posted. the IMAP daemon was working perfectly - no config required.

    I had a small error in my IMAP PHP code.

    i had:
    Code:
    $iServer = '{localhost:143/imap/novalidate-cert}INBOX}';
    and the extra curly brace did not throw up an error just went someweher other than inbox.
