starting and using BIND9
Im working in a slackware9.0 box with BIND 9.
I made the named and my zone files, but when i try to telnet into my box it says connection refused by host. what do i do?

telnet
this is probably a telnet problem. you have started the telnet server? do you have a firewall blocking the telnet ports? There is also a setting somewhere like hosts allow, hosts deny. I'm sure someone else can give you more info on where these are.
