Hi!
I have exactly the same problem, I cannot start the service... Did you find a solution yet?

Is VNC "checked" to start at bootup in:
?Code:system-config-services
What happens when you start vnc as regular user from the command line:
?Code:vncserver

1) Is VNC configured so it has some sessions to maintain?
2) Is the start-up script enabled for it to run at boot time?
