Hi, I wish to know what I need for configuring a Samba server as a PDC for a windows domain, I did some googling and I found something about LDAP and Kerberos, but I not sure what I need to configure..

The network characteristics are this:
All the workstations are Windows XP Pro with NTFS partitions. I want to control user authentification FROM the server.
Some users probably will use folders permissions (in their own workstations), so I want to know if itīs possible to keep that option.
There is no need for users to have shares in the server.

Currently I have a DNS (Bind 9) service in the same machine and I want to configure a Squid server later (first the Samba server)..
