SWAT - PAM problem - wont read passwds from tdbsam
I have swat installed in a Ubuntu standalone server on an MS XP network.
Users can access their own directories but those users added after swat was installed cannot access swat. When those who can access swat change their password it is only changed in linux. Samba passwd remains unchanged.
In most distros there is a module called from /etc/pam.d/login called pam_smbpass.so that should tell pam to consult the smb.conf file to find the passwd backend in use.
In the Ubuntu distro this module is missing.
Can someone please tell me how I tell pam to get and change its passwords in the tdbsam ?
