I almost feel like going back to windows.
Even if it wasn't secure, it sure was a heck of a lot easier just doing normal tasks.
Running a server was a breeze as well.
Sigh... those where the days..

Don't know about "GUI" ftp servers, but Krusader is a very good ftp file transfer tool.

I'm moving back to windows. Linux is just so annoying to get anything going.
You can't double click to install something
it takes like 15 minutes on linux.
Gunzipping it, tar, make install, hey guess what, the instructions on the site for installation are out of date! I guess you'll have to figure out how to install it.
Yup. Windows was much easier.
The question is. Is windows really that much more insecure?
I mean if you had a good firewall going, everything updated, and you took extra percautions. What could happen?
