I hope some of you can help me with my problem.
I'm totaly desperate, I've searche everywhere but found nothing.
I have installed Sendmail, sasl and cyrus imap. It all works well including the TLS.
But know to my problem. I try to authenticate my sendmail server with cram-md5, if I try to do that I always have the message: no secret in DB. I my opinion is that sendmail don't know where to find the sasldb2. The cyrus imap which is installed too, authenticates perfectly with the same sasldb2 and the same username, which resides in /etc/sasl2. With my imap server it is no problem to authenticate with cram-md5.

this is my Sendmail.conf in /usr/lib/sasl2:

pwcheck_method: auxprop
auxprop_plugin: sasldb
sasldb_path: /etc/sasl2/sasldb2
mech_list: CRAM-MD5 DIGEST-MD5 GSSAPI

I've checkt many times if my username and password are correct. The sasldb2 seems to be allrigth. I've checked the Realm too but there is no error, this option should also be allright.
I hope some of you can help me with my problem I don't know where to search anymore.

Thanks in advance
Greets Sebastian
