What samba version are u using?? And how does your network look like.
Do you want to authentiacte the users throw the linux PDC or use shared or usermode??Regards

I use the latest snapshot (i supposed... 3.0.2 ??) and my network actually is in workgroup mode with ten desktop pc.

With older versions of samba you had to hack the xp registry to turn off certified something or others. You don't need to go into the windows reg at all with newer versions of samba.
