Setup PHPBB2 on MYSQL Server

Hey everyone:

I tried to find an answer to my question before I posted this, but couldn't see anything. Probably because I'ts such a n00b question that everyone knows how to do it except me!

Here's my problem:

I'm running Slackware Linux, and I've got MYSQL running just fine. My problem is that I can't install phpBB. I've tried a few things, but the bottom line is that I don't know where to start.

Any ideas?

if you have mysql running just fine and apache+php running just fine, the get www.phpmyadmin.net

its a very easy to use mysql administrator

Hey - Thanks for the quick reply - I actually got it working. I was getting stuck trying to connect to my databse with SQLyog, but I just had to add a user into the MYSQL database on my server so I could connect as someone other than root.
