    Unhappy K3b and mp3s

I am trying to burn a music CD using K3b (0.11.23) on FC4. I have a several mp3 files with which I want to do this, but K3b says that the mp3 format is not recognized (More specifically it says: "unable to handle the following files due to an unsupported format").

The system (FC4) I have does recognize mp3 files, since to listen to them I just bring up xmms and it plays them nicely. So the question is, how do I get K3b to recognize mp3s so that I can burn a music CD?

For now, I'll have to reboot to WinXpee (I have a dual-boot system) and do the above with Musicmatch, but I'd like to be able to do this w/out having to reboot to Windows. Thanks.

    install the "k3b-mad" plugin.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
