With GoDaddy, using Standard Shared Hosting,
use one of the following file paths:

/home/content/u/s/e/username/html/file.pl
OR
FTP to /file.pl
------------------------------
For hosting config 2.0, you can use any directory.
------------------------------
You must specify execute permissions on the file before it will work.
------------------------------
NOTE: Hosting 2.0 is avail for Standard & Deluxe Shared Hosting.
------------------------------
If you have a CGI/Perl or Java enabled account [Shared-Deluxe],
the system path to GoDaddy Perl interpreter is:

#!/usr/bin/perl
CGI binaries must end in .cgi or .pl. You cannot use /cgi-bin/ with GoDaddy.
------------------------------
Example of a Test PERL Script:
#!/usr/bin/perl

use CGI qw(:standard); print "Content-type: text/html\n\n";
print "Greetings user.\n";
------------------------------
Shared Deluxe allows multiple domains,
and those domains can point to any directory.
If using GoDaddy, Shared Deluxe at approx $2 extra per month is a must.
