user authentication in proxy server
hi friends,
i have REDHAT Centos installed machine on which i set up the proxy
server(squid-2.5 STABLE).now i want to apply the user authentication
so that users have to forcefullly enter the username and passwd to
access the sites on the internet.
i want to apply authentication using NCSA . but i am slight confused
abt its implementation.
will you please tell me the settings in the configuration file of
squid(squid.conf) for the implementation of authentication using NCSA.
please help me to solve this?
is their any setting required at the client (windows) side for this
authentication ?
