ICMP blocking from iptables
Hi all,
I have a redhat server. At night i found that i have been attacked(dos and ddos). So I want to block it. Right now I have blocked icmp type 0. Is this will solve my problem? PLease help??

You haven't explained many details about how you were attacked, so hard to say if that will solve your problem.
Note that if your goal is to stop responding to ICMP requests, there are also some kernel parameters you can tune using sysctl.
