plz if you can help me...i have red hat9 dns(bind)server and i want to connect windows xp client to the network to see the linux dns server.ow can configure the windows client???i put the ip of the dns is in local area network/properties/tcp/ip/properties/dns ip and put the computer name(com2.russ.roro)in mycomputer/properties/computer name/change:com2.russ.roro . are these steps right???and the windows ask me to put the pc either in work group or nomain which one choose?and what is the name of it ????which another steps must be do?
