Server Newbie
Hello I am brand new to servers. From what I understand it is cheaper you run a Linux based (Web) Server rather than a Windows Based (Web) Server but I could be wrong please correct me.
My problem is I normally use SuSE but I found instructions for Apache 1.3 for Debian. I was actually about to serve page from the Debian machine useing Apache 1.3 to the network. I now want to use Apache 2.0 on SuSE 10.2 and serve pages on the (test page) network. I have only got as far as being about to test the test page from the actual server but not from another machine on the network. I guess it would be called an intranet? Can anyone help me configure Apache to where I can veiw pages on the linux Webserver from another machine?
