im using fedora core 5. Im plan to upgrade mysql 5.0 version.
im installed but it shows some error.
Error:

Mysql installation probs in Fedora core 5
hi
im newbie
im using fedora core 5. Im plan to upgrade mysql 5.0 version.
im installed but it shows some error.
Error:
rpmdb: /var/lib/rpm/basenames :filesize not a multiple os page size error.
segmentation fault error
How to install the mysql 5.0 in fedora core 5. Plz anybody help me.

It's a "page size error" at the time of your installation your system could not find a enough space to load your module.
segmentation fault means your system can not fine address to load your module.
when you r trying to install any package then minimize the ideal process
you can get the process list by "ps" command.
once u minimize your Ideal process then try to install.
I'm not damn sure but I think It will work...
